How to set up an International Redirect in Bemob

This will guide you through setting up and monetizing your redirect traffic in Bemob with YTZ’s smart link.

Step One: Grab your tracking link from YTZ

Login to your YTZ account and grab the tracking link for the chosen smart link to get started! If you need any assistance or have any questions about the campaigns, please reach out to your account manager. In the YTZ dashboard, go to the Campaigns section on the left-hand side. Example: Select campaign #20 – Mainstream Smart Link

Scroll down to the Tracking Link section and agree to the terms to generate your unique tracking link. Start by adding BeMob’s {clickId} token in the S1 box. It is also recommended that you pass source IDs through the KW field. Add {trafficSourceId} in the KW box. These will automatically update the URL in the Get Tracking Link section below, where you can easily copy the link.

Since we will be setting a global postback for your entire account, you can leave the postback section blank at the bottom for all of your campaigns.

Step Two: Create an Offer in Bemob

Login to BeMob and create an offer:

  • In BeMob, go to the Offers tab
  • Click New Offer.
  • Name your offer.
  • Paste your YTZ tracking link into the field for Offer URL.
  • Set the Payout option to Auto
    • We are adding the payout parameter to our postback so we do not need to manually add payouts.
  • Copy your postback URL and hit Save.

Step Three: Add your postback to your YTZ account

  • Login to YTZ and go to the Postback section of the dashboard.
  • Click Add Account Level Postback.
  • Make sure you have the correct protocol selected (http or https).
  • Paste your postback URL in the bottom section without the protocol.
  • Replace the word ‘REPLACE’ with {S1}
  • Where it says payout=OPTIONAL, replace ‘OPTIONAL’ with {REVENUE}
  • Remove &txid=OPTIONAL&status=OPTIONAL.
  • Click Create Postback.

Step Four: Set a Default Path to monetise your redirects

To create a flow within BeMob, go to the Flows section on the panel and press the New button.

Name your Flow and set it to the Master Workspace. Set the country to Global.
There are two types of paths in a flow: default and rule-based.
To set a Default Path define the name for a path, ex. Global - Redirect
The weight by default will be set to 100%. 
You can leave the redirect mode as 302.
Switch off the landing page option.
Click Add Offer and choose the one we set up for the YTZ smart link in a previous step from the drop-down list.
Hit Save & Close.
After the flow is successfully created you can select it in your campaign settings.

Choose one of your existing campaigns. Select the flow that you just created and hit Save. Repeat this step with all of your campaigns. If a visitor doesn't match any rule condition, they will be forwarded to the Default path.

That’s it - You have successfully set up YTZ as a redirect on your offer in Bemob! Now you will earn revenue on traffic that was previously going to waste. Make sure to repeat that step for each offer to maximize your earnings.
