How to Set Up An International Redirect in Everflow

This will guide you through setting up and monetizing your fail traffic in Everflow with YTZ’s smart link.

Step 1: Grab your tracking link from YTZ

Login to your YTZ account and grab the tracking link for the chosen smart link to get started! If you need any assistance or have any questions about the campaigns, please reach out to your account manager.

In the YTZ dashboard, go to the Campaigns section on the left-hand side. Example: Select campaign #20 – Mainstream Smart Link

Scroll down to the Tracking Link section and agree to the terms to generate your unique tracking link.

Configure the tracking parameters in the tracking link. Start by adding Everflow’s {transaction_id} token in the S1 box and add {affiliate_id} in the KW box. These will automatically update the URL below, and you can easily copy the link.

Since you are setting a global postback for your entire account, you can leave the postback section blank at the bottom for all of your campaigns.

Step 2: Create/Duplicate an offer in Everflow

To get started in Everflow you can create a new Offer or you can Duplicate an existing offer.
To create an Offer select go to Offers and select Add Offer, or you can duplicate an Offer by navigating to Offers - Manage > Find an existing Offer - Scroll to right and click on the three vertical dots > Copy Offer.

Below are the following sections you need to fill out:

1. General:

2. Revenue & Payout:

  • Base Revenue Type - The amount you will earn for this traffic. We recommend RPS 100% since we payout on a variable payout that we pass back in the postback.
  • Base Payout Type - The amount that you will pay your affiliate partners. This could be CPA $0 if you do not intend to pay your partners for fail traffic

  1. Tracking & Controls
  • Conversion Method - Select Server Postback (S2S)
  • Visibility - We recommend setting this to private since partners will not be running traffic directly to this offer.
  • Unique Session Identifier - Recommended choice here is 'Cookie', '1' for Session Duration, and 'Days' for Time Interval. The length of time indicates how long a click is considered a duplicate click, with the same cookie during that time frame.

Step 3: Enable Global Fail Traffic in Everflow

Enabling Fail Traffic allows you set rules for where Invalid Clicks will be sent from yours Offers. When disabled, Invalid Clicks will be sent to an empty page as opposed to earning revenue with YTZ's Smart Link.

To Enable Fail Traffic - Go to Control Center > Platform Configuration > Edit Global Setting card

  • Select Enable Global Fail Traffic > Yes
  • Add the YTZ Fail Offer we just created above

*Note: This will only be relevant if the enable fail mechanism is active on your offers and if the targeting on the offers allows traffic to fail i.e. caps, geo specification etc.

Step 4: Bulk Edit your Offers in Everflow to Enable Fail Traffic

  • Under Offers > Mange > Bulk Edit (three dots in the top right)

  • Select bulk offers to add fail traffic to (Select All or Choose specific offers)download.png
  • Select Enable Fail Traffic

  • Field Type > Select Redirect Internal Routing Type
  • Redirect Mechanism > Select Priority with Global Fail Redirect
    download.png
Continue through the Bulk Edit wizard.

Step 5: Set your Everflow postback in YTZ

  • Copy Postback URL from the original offer setup in Everflow under General > Tracking

Postback

  • Login to YTZ > Go to the Postback section of the dashboard and click Add Account Level Postback
  • Replace TRANSACTION_ID with {S1} and AMOUNT with {REVENUE}
  • Click Create Postback

That’s it - You have successfully set up YTZ as a redirect on your offer in Everflow! Now you will earn revenue on traffic that was previously going to waste. Make sure to repeat that step for each offer to maximize your earnings.
